Each Alex Jones Store knife is built with a premium steel blade (most folders use D2 tool steel; fixed blades use 14C28N stainless) finished with a stone-washed surface to cut glare. Handles are built from grippy materials like G10 or linen Micarta-style scales for confident control.

Folding models use a secure lock mechanism (liner lock or shaft-style) for one-hand deployment. Fixed-blade models are full-tang and ship with a sheath included.

Wipe the blade dry after every use and clean off moisture, fingerprints, or debris before storing. Apply a thin coat of light machine or mineral oil to the blade and pivot periodically to prevent corrosion — especially important for high-carbon steels like D2.

Sharpen on a quality whetstone, ceramic rod, or guided sharpener at the factory edge angle (typically 20-22° per side). Avoid power grinders — they ruin the heat treat.
